Position Summary
The Brand & Creative Manager plays a role in shaping the brand and maintaining consistency across the organization, developing creative concepts, and providing graphic design production for organizational marketing needs.
Essential Functions
- Assist with brand strategy and implementation of brand design system of new initiatives.
- Own the brand standards and help train area offices on how to leverage the brand at the local level to enable JA to maintain brand consistency.
- Ensures that all materials align with JA branding and identity standards throughout the organization.
- Develops creative design concepts and production art for marketing projects and any other organizational visual/design needs.
- Collaborates on web design upgrades to national and satellite sites including stand-alone sites.
- Designs marketing print materials including brochures, flyers, and infographics.
- Creates motion graphics for multimedia campaigns and imagery for social media.
- Gathers and analyzes campaign performance data and suggest improvements based on data.
- Manages project timelines, specifications, and design briefs for graphics production of traditional print and online deliverables.
- Coordinates JA Area and multiple department project engagement to ensure input is gathered to support project outcomes.
- Provides graphic support to JA Areas.
- Oversee branded promotional material sites and offerings to meet the needs of the area offices.
- Stays up to date on current design styles and trends, and researches new software and advancements.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned or requested.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in graphics or equivalent education/experience.
- A minimum of three (3) years of progressive work experience in graphic design.
- Knowledgeable (or an understanding of) about branding and brand strategy.
- Fluent understanding and demonstrated expertise of Adobe.
- Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated knowledge of visual aspects of marketing materials, print, online, and other media.
- Creative flair, originality, and a strong visual sense.
- Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas.
- Comfortable working with other departments, JA Areas, and vendors.
Desired Qualifications
- BA degree with emphasis in graphic and digital design or equivalent education/experience.
- Working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5 and JavaScript.
- User Experience and User Interface experience.
- Photography knowledge.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $64,000 to $75,000 annually, with the exact salary depending on prior work experience and the assessment of one’s fit for the role.
