We are looking for an experienced Brand Manager to join our team!
The Brand Manager will champion our GenFlex low-slope roofing systems brand, driving brand strategy and brand activation to meet business and marketing objectives. This role reports to the Senior Brand Manager.
Brand Oversight
- Leads GenFlex brand strategy for Holcim Building Envelope, a global commercial roofing industry market leader.
- Owns brand strategy and identity/guidelines, including vision to bring the brand to life and support/refine the brand value proposition. Also responsible for brand governance to drive consistency, evolving as needed.
- Works closely with channel marketing, sales, product managers, corporate communications, and the digital team to develop strategically driven recommendations and plans to achieve marketing and business objectives.
- Support on the Gentite and Elevate brands
- Analyzes trends, staying current with customer and segment-specific insights and motivation, business challenges, and competitive brands, translating insights and learnings into relevant activation that advances the brand.
- Proactively monitors key business targets and adjusts brand strategies/tactics as needed.
- Continuously monitors/identifies brand strengths, weaknesses, and limitations and recommends/implements strategies to position competitively within the commercial building products industry.
- Brings a deeper understanding of our customers’ viewpoints through regular conversations with Sales and customers.
Brand Activation
- Responsible for brand activation across channels, customer segments, and owned properties in support of launches, trade shows, marketing initiatives and general brand advancement efforts, optimizing the marketing mix for maximum impact.
- Ensures all marketing communication output, from positioning and online content to stylistic elements and key customer touch points, align with the brand and brand experience.
- Project management for GenFlex and GenTite, creating scalable templates and processes. Asana training will be provided.
- Hands-on responsibility for design (Canva or similar, Adobe InDesign, ) with support from other brand staff and agencies.
- Work with Senior Brand Manager in placement, management, and measurement of paid media.
- Partner with Communications team on development of earned media opportunities
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, or related.
- 4+ years' relevant experience in marketing and/or agency experience with demonstrated expertise in brand management.
- Experience in B2B marketing, preferably in big box, lumber yard, and/or building products
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
- Highly capable project manager, able to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative thinker with strong leadership, prioritization skills, and a history of relationship building.
- Copywriting experience in B2B
