Bojangles is looking for a Manager, Digital Media who can facilitate processes across media planning, buying, and vendors, overseeing the execution of media plans from inception to completion. This individual will be a critical leader, helping to provide strategic direction & innovative thinking. The Manager will be responsible for building efficient processes, collaborating with cross-departmental teams, while mentoring other members of the media team.You will be a driving force for planning ideation; supporting media-execution; and media-led creative in the digital space.
Job Duties
- Develop and deliver senior-level media strategy across all levels that are derived from industry insights and expertise
- Consistently work to maintain the success of campaigns: update working presentations, media strategy, plan summaries, exec summaries, and making any real-time optimizations to campaigns
- Facilitate the creation of the media strategy, media plan, trafficking documents and naming conventions to ensure information clear and accessible across all departments
- Oversee the real-time reporting dashboard as well as developing monthly and quarterly reports that highlight successes and optimizations necessary to meet business goals.
- Maintain media budgets, overseeing spend broken out by various DMA or markets, and report to different franchisee or business groups both spend and performance
- Ability to identify insights and learnings that can strengthen creative used within paid media advertising
- Maintain relationships with the media vendor community and continue to develop platform, publisher, and brand relationships
Work Experience and Requirements
- 6+ years of industry related experience in a media planning and buying role with a track record of managing and executing digital programs, investments and exceeding objectives and goals.
- Strategic understanding of CTV/OTT, digital, and social-specific media planning & buying, along with the proper metrics of success and measurement opportunities
- Experience tactically planning across several digital media channels with depth in all or a majority of the following:
-Social: Meta, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn, TikTok
-Amazon (AMS, Amazon DSP, AMG)
-Programmatic Display/Video (DV360, The Trade Desk, AppNexus, etc.)
-Publisher/Partner Direct
-Connected TV/OTT (Roku, Hulu, etc.)
-Paid Search (Google, Bing, Amazon)
- Fluency with analytics, attribution and measurement systems.
- Experience with the executional side of media buying across biddable and native platforms a plus
- Experience leading and managing growing teams
- Advanced written and presentation communication skills
- A proven understanding and expertise in brand strategy, as well as the social/digital space and how it integrates with the wider marketing mix for Fortune 500 size brands
- Ability to collaborate with the individuals of an organization, fostering strong cross-functional teamwork and positive results.
