Sierra View Medical Center, a 167-bed, full-service acute care facility, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, is seeking a night shift L&D RN. This nurse will be responsible for providing patient care on the unit, demonstrating an advanced level of clinical competency. The L&D RN will be contributing in a positive manner and working under the general director of the unit director, clinical manager and charge nurse.
Position Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of recent experience as an RN in Labor & Delivery required.
- must have current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of California.
- Must have and maintain current BLS certification or obtain within orientation process, prior to hands-on patient care.
- Must have and maintain ACLS certification or obtain within six (6) months of assignment to department.
- Must have and maintain NRP, EFM or obtain within 6 months of assignment to department.
