Role; Founding Developer Relations Engineer
Location: Bellevue/Kirkland Area, WA - Hybrid (3 days a week in office, could flex)
Package: $160,000 - $240,000 + equity (depends on experience and seniority)

Your day to day:
You would join the Product Org and have full ownership of what the DevRel Programme should look like, targetting predominantly Data Engineers. Your goal will be to increase the adoption of the product with existing customers, but also showcase to new potential users via community, networking, events, marketing etc.
You will be creating highly technical content and be a trusted partner to the community you build, providing the company with user feedback from the people you speak with.
Some ideas:
- Social Media, Forums, Conferences, Events - being active in these communities
- Content - Webinars, Demos, Videos, Tutorials, Blogs etc
- Events - hosting, attending, speaking at
- Collaboration - with product, marketing and engineering to make sure feedback from the community is shared with the relevant teams to make product improvements
- Support when needed - helping the community to use the core products
Your experience:
- Proven Track Record in Community building - whether that be via youtube, in person or blogs!
- Technical background - been a Data Engineer or worked in the database or data analytics space
- Strong language skills - both technical writing and presentation
- Understanding of the Database world
- SQL know-how
