Job Summary
As a Graduate Nurse, you'll join a healthcare team to earn your Registered Nurse credentials. You'll use our nursing model to coordinate patient care and create personalized care plans. You'll evaluate patient responses, document outcomes, ensure smooth healthcare transitions, and prevent complications or delays. You'll delegate tasks based on nursing rules, patient conditions, and team competencies in Texas.
What You'll Do
- You'll evaluate patients, prioritize needs. Assess care effectiveness, adjust plans to reach goals.
- Providing relief from pain is crucial.
- Incorporate each patient's unique needs, respecting confidentiality, and advocating for their concerns and rights is essential. Care plans will be established accordingly.
- Facilitating learning for patients, their families, members of the nursing staff, and the community will be part of your responsibilities.
- You'll work alongside your colleagues and community in the delivery of patient care, emphasizing collaborative efforts.
- Applying system thinking, you will use strategies and resources to solve challenges faced by patients, their families, and staff.
- Maintaining professionalism is important.
What Will Make You Successful In The Role
- Being well-versed in nursing and patient care practices.
- Familiarity with relevant laws, rules, regulations as well as hospital guidelines and procedures.
- An understanding of medical lingo, disease prevention and management.
- Excellent skills in conveying information clearly and interacting confidently with diverse populations.
- Top-notch problem-solving abilities and critical-thinking skills.
- Being observant of changes in medical situations, and just as important, being able to effectively communicate these changes.
- Demonstrated expertise in providing patient-centered care that respects the diversity of human experiences.
- Proficiency in using general computer applications.
- Having prior experience of up to one year in nursing would be a plus but is not a requirement.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited ADN or BSN Program
- Must be certified in Basic Life Support or obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
- You need a Graduate Nurse or Registered Nurse License by start date.
