We need a skilled Account Manager with the flexibility to turn on your heels when priorities change, the thoughtfulness to do what’s in the best interest of the team, and the desire to always produce your best work. We are a small, boutique media-focused advertising agency which means we're a “roll your sleeves” up and tackle whatever situation is happening that day, kind of agency. Our clients and their needs are unique meaning there is very little redundancy in this role.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Driving client happiness and helping them meet their business goals are at the heart of the Account Manager role. You will take ownership of client accounts from onboarding through ongoing client retention.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Client Communication: You will be your clients’ primary point of contact, functioning as a liaison between them and our team. You’ll lead reporting and project status calls with clients.
- Customer Service and Client Retention: You will field any client questions or requests, troubleshoot issues, and bring in the appropriate team members when necessary. Your goal is to ensure long-term satisfaction and the development of client relationships.
- Project Management: You will move projects forward internally with our team, partner agencies (when applicable), and the clients. You will manage timelines, prioritize tasks, and ensure you are communicating with the team to ensure expectations are set and deadlines are met.
- Strategy: You will identify opportunities and goals for clients and make sure that the work being done by the team is always focused on achieving these objectives.
- Reporting: You will oversee campaign reporting, ensuring reports are compelling and cohesive
CORE COMPETENCIES
- Intuitive Communication: You will be a client’s primary point of contact and responsible for relaying updates to our team; you must be personable, professional, and responsive. There is an intuition needed in this role to differentiate between moments when an email will suffice and when you need to pick up the phone.
- Attention to Detail: It’s all in the details - especially at Bridge. This role will be assigned to a short list of clients but will require that you are managing all of the details. You will be representing Bridge to our clients and partners and therefore are responsible for the accuracy and quality of our company’s work. Attention to detail is crucial, so please include the title of your favorite movie or book at the beginning of your email or application.
- Expert Organization and Project Management: If someone asks you to describe yourself, “organized” should be high on your list. You will need an exceptionally strong ability to multitask and prioritize accordingly, keeping track of outstanding assets and tasks.
- Knowledge of the advertising industry: Clients will ask questions, need POVs, and require rationale on their advertising investments. We need someone who has a strong knowledge base of the industry and the nuances that go along with it. Someone who is also competent in connecting the dots and making the proper recommendations to move the client’s business forward but also takes into account the best interests of the agency.
- Resourceful and Confident Self-Starter: Once you learn the ropes, we’ll expect you to own your accounts to keep projects moving forward. You will need to take the initiative to make decisions and recommendations and to follow up with clients to progress projects and maintain successful relationships. You will solve problems every single day, so we need someone with a solutions-oriented mind.
- Takes Pride In Work: We need someone who takes any project, big or small and puts everything they have into it.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven work experience as an advertising agency Account Manager
- Ability to create concise and impactful decks
- Knowledge of both digital and traditional media formats
- Interest in following advertising and media trends
- Ability to thrive in a work-from-home position
- Someone who is a proactive, disciplined, organized, self-starter, and highly motivated
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field
