A chain of renowned and prestigious urgent care centers to immediately hire a full-time/part-time qualified Nurse Practitioner in North Bergen, NJ. This job is in a dynamic and professional environment in state-of-the-art facilities that include X-ray, EKG, PFT, and more. The supporting staff performs admission and eligibility, triaging patients, injection, and phlebotomy work. Providers will have a complete report in the EMR before they examine the patients.
These centers offer $160K-$180K per year for full-time, plus hefty employment packages for full-time including paid time off (PTO), medical, malpractice insurance, and CME.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing and diagnosing acute illnesses and injuries in patients of all ages,
- Conducting physical examinations, ordering, and interpreting diagnostic tests, and prescribing appropriate medications,
- Administering treatments and procedures, including wound care, suturing, splinting, and minor surgical procedures,
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care,
- Educating patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and self-care at home, and
- Triaging patients based on the urgency of their conditions and making appropriate referrals when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner,
- Active New Jersey license,
- At least 2-3 years of urgent care experience,
- Spanish or Arabic proficiency is preferred,
- High organizational skills, and
- Effective and compassionate communication skills.
Job Type:
- Part-time (1-3 days per week).
- Full-time (36-48 hours per week).
Pay Level:
- $160K-$180K per year for full-time.
