Nurse Practitioner
Duties
We are seeking a part-time or full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our team to provide holistic and quality care to our patients in a community clinic and residential SUD treatment settings.
Duties include helping with all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments, and consultations, referrals for specialty medical care, prescribe medication, examine patients, diagnose illnesses and provide treatment, order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests, gather health histories, perform physical examinations/screenings and diagnostic procedures, develop and implement treatment plans, dictate and document all patient interactions, notify managing physician/Medical Director about unusual or unexpected events or problems, effectively communicate with diverse populations, including physicians, employees, and patients, providing health promotion, prevention, limited diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, infections, and injuries, prescribing medications when needed to ensure patient health and well-being.
Salary Range: 90K – 110K (Depending on experience and availability)
Requirements and skills
- Must hold current Nurse Practitioner license/registration to practice in California.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion.
- Ability to maintain highly confidential information.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of diagnostic equipment and procedures.
- Furnishing License preferred.
- Knowledge of Substance Use Disorder services highly desired.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
