Optum is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our primary care clinic in Albuquerque, NM. This is an excellent position to further your professional growth.
About the Role:
- Schedule: Monday – Friday / 8am – 5pm
- Manage patient care in outpatient clinic setting
- Consults, follow-up appointments, well-checks, scheduled screenings
- Comfortable seeing patients of all ages
- Average Daily Patient Census: 18-20 patients
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Master of Science Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice program or a Master of Physician Assistant Studies
- Active and unrestricted NP, APRN, or PA license for New Mexico or ability to obtain prior to start
- Current, active DEA licensure/prescriptive authority or ability to obtain prior to start
- Active Nurse Practitioner certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
