Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician provides general maintenance to the presses, cutters and finishing production lines to ensure they are working effectively including: Troubleshooting, Repairing, Installing, and Adjusting parts. This position works Monday-Thursday 1:45pm-11:45pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs routine maintenance checks on all equipment and follows preventative maintenance procedures
- Ensures we are following proper procedures in regards to safety and OSHA regulations; administers lock-out tag-out procedures on any unsafe equipment that is in need of repairs
- Supports the installation, development and startup of new processes
- Properly documents procedures and maintain maintenance records
- Maintain inventory and good repair of all assigned tools and equipment
- Communicate essential information regarding incomplete repairs at shift change
- Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, Technician or equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of electrical power and control voltage
- Troubleshooting PLC devices, printers and labeler; Pneumatic and hydraulic
- Ability to read blueprints and schematic wiring diagrams
- Basic computer and math skills
- Forklift and scissor lift experience
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. regularly throughout shift
Compensation details: 32-36 Hourly Wage
