The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Marketing Director to spearhead our marketing initiatives in the real estate sector. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of real estate investment trends and market dynamics. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our real estate investment products, boost brand visibility, and drive lead generation.
Description
- Allocate approximately 30% of your efforts to leading and managing investor targeting initiatives, collaborating with Private Capital and Investor Relations to identify, attract, and engage prospective High Net Worth (HNW) investors for real estate JV partnerships.
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans in compliance with 506(b) regulations to effectively promote the brand.
- Lead and mentor a small marketing team, ensuring successful implementation of marketing strategies.
- Create engaging multimedia content, either independently or in collaboration with third-party vendors, including copy, illustrations, photography, video, and event materials to support branding and marketing initiatives.
- Oversee the creation of marketing and sales assets such as brochures, flyers, posters, signage, business cards, digital/print advertisements, emails, and more.
- Design and manage email campaigns, update web content, and create web landing pages.
- Source and manage photographers and videographers to capture asset features and people-based content.
- Regularly utilize Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro) or other media editing software.
- Partner with creative vendors for web and backend support, assisting in website development (WordPress/Genesis), basic SEO, site linking, and HTML/CSS cleanup.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to request estimates, place orders, approve proofs, and stay updated on production trends and process efficiencies.
- Translate strategic marketing objectives into comprehensive communication plans and ensure timely execution.
- Manage and expand our email marketing contact database to enhance outreach effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide content, layout, and distribution support for marketing efforts. Produce mock-ups and storyboards to illustrate design elements and initiatives, ensuring brand consistency and integrity in all department-produced artworks.
- Revise work promptly based on stakeholder feedback.
- Provide regular progress updates for the design team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of marketing experience, with extensive knowledge of 506(b) regulations and a proven ability to develop compliant marketing strategies.
- Successful track record in developing and implementing effective marketing strategies.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of working with senior executives and collaborative teams.
- Excellent analytical skills for interpreting data, analyzing market trends, and making data-driven decisions.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, able to convey complex concepts to both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Proficiency with digital marketing platforms and tools, including Google Analytics, social media advertising, email marketing software, and CMS platforms.
- Knowledge of real estate investment principles, terminology, and industry regulations.
- Innovative and creative thinker with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
