Job Description:
Senior Software Engineer to play the role of a scrum team member/developer on the Employer Company Match Application in the Defined Contribution Space of Workplace Investing.
The Team We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work in Development/Improvement of Mainframe applications. This function will support the business to ensure Defined Contribution projects are implemented with the highest quality product. The candidate must have strong communication skills and experience interacting with a geographically diverse team.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring - Must have bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or other Technology related degree
- Minimum 5 - 7 Years Related Technology Experience
- Experience in Mainframe (JCL ,COBOL, VSAM, DB2, CICS) required
- Experience in the development and deployment of Batch and CICS applications
- Good understanding on the usage of mainframe tools - ENDEVOR, FILE-AID, ABEND-AID, CONTROL-M
- Ability to take up new challenges and explore new technology/tools
- Strong communication skills to talk with Project Managers and External Clients
- Agile environment work experience
- Analysis skills to evaluate new projects or existing system functionality
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- MS Excel experience a plus
