- The schedule is Monday-Friday, 6:30AM-4:00PM
Overview
Our client is seeking a Lineman Journeyman Training Specialist to participate in, and conduct OH Linesperson apprentice and related safety/OSHA training programs. As a Lineman Journeyman, you will plan and execute craft person hands-on and classroom training as well as monitor and report participant progress. You will be expected to act as a coach and enforce safety. The ideal candidate will have significant Electric Utility field experience to train workers in their progression to Journeyman lineman in a classroom setting.
Required Skills & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Journey level in OH line persons training.
- Safety records and values.
- Ability to establish trust and build/coach teams.
- Journey Line qualification.
- Basic computer skills - Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Coaching ability
- Comfortable and/or experience conducting trainings in a classroom setting.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Teaching/instructor or leadership experience.
- 5+ years of experience.
