Job Title: Registered Nurse – MedSurg / Telemetry
Location: Binghamton, NY 13903
Pay Rate: $2751/ Weekly
($1239 weekly stipend + $42/hr. )
Duration: 13 weeks Contract
Shift: Nights(12hrs)
Hours: 36hrs/ week
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to patients in Med/Surg and Telemetry units.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, promptly identifying and responding to changes in patient conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient care accurately and maintain thorough medical records.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
Requirements:
- NY license in hand
- Orientation is every other Monday
- Binghamton General Hospital
- Total joints: knee and hips, spine, plastics- breast reductions, mastectomies with reconstruction, podiatry, orthopedic 23 hour stays, overflow medical
- Common medications used: Xarelto, Percocet, Fentanyl, Norco, Dsuvia, Antibiotics IV Cefazolin
- Common Equipment: Walkers, Canes, Knee Scooters, Sit To Stand, Hoyer, Wheelchairs, Stryker Beds, Stryker Stretcher Chairs
- EPIC experience required
