About The Role
Summary:
The Accounting Business Coordinator (ABC) will be employed within the Finance and Accounting Department of Glacier Bancorp, Inc. The ABC will support the Department in achieving its goals by providing administrative support on projects, accounting policies and procedures, tracking progress of accounting activities, and performing accounting duties. The ABC will regularly prepare and distribute project status reports to the Finance and Accounting Department Managers to ensure timely completion. The ABC will provide insight and recommendations throughout the projects for successful completion. This position will be considered a representative of the Finance and Accounting Department to all levels of the Company and be involved in assisting in project administration for Bank Acquisitions. Professionalism and diplomacy to gain trust is critical to the success of the position. A successful candidate will build and continually develop relationships across the Company as well as vendors to increase the effectiveness and compliance with the Accounting processes.
This is a Corporate position located in Kalispell, MT. The entry rate for this position is $24.51 + /hour (calculated for Kalispell, MT)
All compensation offers are analyzed individually and take into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, years of experience, and educational background.
Duties:
Project Support: Apply project administrative skills and control techniques to provide support through the project lifecycle. Assist in execution of plans and coordinate with team members to complete the project according to scope, on time, and within budget. Communicate
with project team members regularly through team meetings, documented minutes, and weekly status reports. Manage and update changes to project documentation. Identify, communicate and administer issues or risks and support impacted areas to reach a resolution.
Accounting Support: Provide accounting support or backup for various department activities including but not limited to reconciliations, research, daily accounting functions, special projects, quarter/month end activities, etc.
Administrative: Provide administrative support including organizing meetings, managing intranet department site, managing department documents, printing and distributing reports, etc.
Bank Acquisitions: Support the Department Supervisors/Managers through the bank acquisition process including the documentation process, conversion and acquisition accounting process, maintaining timelines, reporting progress, etc.
Training: Provide recommendations and support for training activities within the Department.
Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Must complete the assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by due date.

Travel
