Day-to-Day:
Insight Global is in search of a Registered Nurse in the Tacoma, WA area to support a government client on a long term contract. The ideal candidate would be responsible for ensuring patient care aligns with the Standards of Nursing Care and adheres to clinic policies and procedures. In this role, you will administer complex treatments, monitor both invasive and non-invasive equipment, and assess patient progress in fluid balance and laboratory data. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for administering other complex treatments, including IV Push medications. A strong understanding of intraoperative care for pregnant patients and immediate postoperative care following surgical procedures is essential. You’ll operate and monitor specialized monitoring, therapeutic, and resuscitative equipment. Knowledge of electronic fetal/uterine monitoring (placement, maintenance, and interpretation) is also required. Your responsibilities will include assessing and providing total care for pregnant patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum, as well as caring for mother-baby couplets. Antepartum care for patients generally beyond 18 weeks gestation and coordinating census and acuity on your shift are part of your duties.
