The Opportunity:
The role will be responsible for leading all US editorial strategies, building influencer relationships, media planning, partnering with global and aligning to an overall go to market strategy. The manager will develop strong relationships with key beauty media, industry leaders and influencers while partnering internally and externally to drive public relations, media and influencer programs to enhance our brand positioning and build brand awareness/credibility in the US market for the Byredo brand.
What you’ll get to do:
Digital Marketing Strategy:
- Design go-to-market strategies with internal teams and agencies, leveraging consumer data, Tribes-based approach, and cohesive planning across Paid, Owned, and Earned channels.
- Collaborate with Brand Management and Global teams to ensure consistent brand equity and storytelling, adapting plans to local needs.
- Develop holistic Paid, Owned, and Earned market strategies.
- Work with the Director on strategies for the USA market, campaign execution, reporting, and analytics.
- Identify market trends to drive brand positioning.
- Provide feedback on global strategies applied to local markets.
- Collaborate with Brand Management, Media, and E-commerce teams to meet business needs.
- Manage day-to-day budget execution with Director and leadership approval.
- Maintain strong relationships with beauty editors, influencers, and talent agents in the beauty & fragrance space.
- PR:
- Develop and implement communications plans to increase brand awareness through press, events, spokespeople, and collaborations.
- Drive editorial strategies to increase brand exposure.
- Lead initiatives to boost brand awareness and desirability.
- Partner with local and global teams for storytelling synergies.
- Plan and manage press events, product launches, and community/charitable work.
- Deliver monthly reports and ad hoc analysis using Cision.
Influencers:
- Develop influencer strategies for each brand, including tiered approaches across social channels.
- Create strategies for engaging micros, mid-tier, macro, and celeb influencers for short- and long-term partnerships.
- Understand social platforms, content best practices, and rights & usage.
- Plan and execute launch events with Global alignment.
- Set KPIs and track influencer campaign performance using tools like Radarly and Lefty.
- Ensure activations align with global guidelines and US business connections.
- Recruit and manage core influencers, including contracting and deliverables.
- Oversee project management from start to finish for timely launches.
- Conduct post-campaign analysis to measure digital marketing performance.
- Partner with Global on new launch mailers and influencer product needs.
- Manage financial planning and budget allocation with the Senior Manager.
- Demonstrate successful campaigns in the beauty or fragrance space with existing influencer relationships.
- Content:
- Lead content strategies, aligning with marketing goals and challenging Global Brands with new ideas.
- Partner with Global brands for content shoots to enhance campaign creative.
- Oversee venue booking, production, and execution.
- Manage local briefing documents, content approvals, and talent feedback with global teams.
We’d love to meet you if you have:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of working experience
- Minimum 4 -5 Years of Digital Marketing experience.
- Demonstrated track record for executing 360 plans across Paid, Owned and Earned channels
- Strong understanding of media data/research sources.
- Track record of building brand awareness with an eye for message, content and stories.
- Significant experience and a proven track record of executing digital communication strategies and tracking ROI analysis as a result.
- Experience managing and negotiating with external partners (Agents, talent, vendors).
- Must have a good handle on current trending influencers and pop culture.
- Understanding of the Digital Media landscape, KPIs and leading digital partners.
- Strong verbal skills. Innovative thinker and interested in first to market.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Excel.
- Needs to be a creative problem solver, thrive in fast paced environment, prioritize and oversee multiple projects at once.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities. Attention to detail and work well with cross functional teams.
- Positive attitude and demonstrates a high level of maturity and presence.
Compensation:
As required by New York State's salary transparency law, effective November 2022, the expected base salary for this position ranges from $110,000.00 - $120,000.00. Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
