Day-to-Day:
Insight Global is in search of a Registered Nurse in the Tacoma, WA area to support a government client on a long term contract. The ideal candidate would be responsible for ensuring patient care aligns with the Standards of Nursing Care and adheres to clinic policies and procedures. In this role you will play a crucial role in caring for postpartum mothers and neonates. In this role you will provide comprehensive professional nursing care to critically ill nursing patients. You are responsible for military families infants' throughout their tour of duty and possess extensive knowledge and experience. You will care for infants using various respiratory support devices, such as oscillators, vents, iNO, CPAP, SIPAP, nasal cannula, and trach tubes. You will participate in patient care plan development, monitor IV fluids and blood products, perform neonatal catheter care, and address potential problems. Additionally, they assist with basic infant care, hygiene, and feeding. You will also support and instruct breastfeeding mothers, set up specialized equipment, administer prescribed medications, and serve as a resource for other healthcare providers in challenging patient care situations.
