TRISTAR is seeking a Electrical/Electronic Engineer III for our government customer in Crane, IN
Position Description:
Seeking a Senior Radio Frequency RF/Electronics Engineer III to perform in the Lead Engineering Role on Test Set Development programs within the Advanced Radars Portfolio, including but not limited to, the SLQ-32(V)7 SEWIP BLK3 Low Band Transmit Slat Array (LBTx), Low Band Receive Slat Array (LBRx), and High Band Receive (HBRx) Aperture Assembly, and the High Band Transmit (HBTx) Aperture Assembly
Position Responsibilities:
Expected to lead a team of Engineers and Technicians through the development process as well as provide aid in the test station design and development
The test stations utilize Advanced Radars groups common test set architecture and takes the model-based systems engineering design approach along with using the Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process
There is also a repair component to the capabilities stand up
Expected to adhere to these processes and lead the Technical team in the development of repair processes and analyzing the extent to which repairs can be performed on these specific LRUs
Understanding of RF systems, including RF amplifiers and antennas is required
Understanding standard lab test equipment, such as power supplies and digital multi-meters, and understanding specialized RF test equipment, including Vector Network Analyzers and Spectrum Analyzers
Understand the development of interface circuit boards, that include multi-layer printed circuit boards, deriving requirements from Technical Data Packages and from test set system requirements
Understand system interfaces and work with various engineers to develop system wiring diagrams
Provide system wiring updates and changes to systems engineers and review changes in Cameo systems modeler
Tasking requires 2-3 days/week on-site for collaboration with design team
Position Requirements:
RF testing and analysis experience
Must be a US Citizen
An Active Secret Clearance is required or the ability to obtain one
Radar Education and Certification:
BS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
