What You'll Do: - Maintains and updates reports and registries for the PCHH team, overseeing all registry work, including outreach, scheduling, and documentation. Ensures compliance with workflows and procedures by reviewing registry data
- Performs audits for invasive procedures and in-house labs, as well as other PCHH data and initiatives, providing documentation of audits. Identifies and communicates process improvement ideas to staff
- Assists with the Release of Information forms, subpoenas, and court orders, forwarding them to the HIM department. Handles sorting and distributing mail and faxes to appropriate recipients
- Provides Obstetrics (OB) support by running reports, maintaining the OB log, and providing consent forms to the hospital. Offers chart review support to PAs and NPs, forwarding reviews to physicians and maintaining a log
Qualifications: - High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- Associate's Degree or Certificate from an accredited technical school is preferred
- One year's experience working in an office setting, preferably a medical or dental office
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. Ability to communicate at level 9 on the language proficiency scale to receive bilingual differential pay.
- Ability to prioritize work and handle a variety of tasks simultaneously, with frequent interruptions
- Ability to effectively interact with patients, providers, and staff in a professional manner
- Basic proficiency in Electronic Medical Records, Word, and Excel
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology is desired.
