The practice has an expanding community presence and we are looking to add to our team. Our opening is for a Medical Billing and Collections Specialist with Ophthalmology experience.
Candidates should enjoy working in the medical billing and coding profession, value teamwork, like problem solving and are committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
The Medical Billing and collections specialist will work claims from start to finish to fully support the practice’s needs. The ideal candidate must be proactive when working with insurance companies.
Duties include answering calls, responding to patient inquiries and/or problems regarding their accounts, transmit coded information to payers and other authorized recipients, follow-up on patient balances and manage accounts receivable reports.
