Oncology Account Specialist's - Permanent - North New Jersey
Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Oncology Account Specialist to contribute to our sales objectives by performing assigned sales-related activities.
Primary Responsibilities:
This role involves providing physicians, pharmacists, and healthcare professionals with products, services, and information that will enable them to use and prescribe our products safely and effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong business acumen, customer engagement skills, and scientific learning agility.
Skills & Requirements:
- Sc. or B.A. degree in a related field.
- Previous experience as a Pharmaceutical Representative is beneficial, particularly in the oncology or hematology area.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated team player.
- Computer proficiency.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
The Oncology Account Specialist's responsibilities will be:
- Achieve the assigned sales objective for the territory.
- Communicate balanced, accurate, and complete information on products to appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Engage with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to provide product information and ensure product availability.
- Manage the territory efficiently, adhering to principles of key physician/account prioritization, daily call reporting, and the execution of brand strategy through effective business planning.
- Complete administrative requirements including budget management, call reporting, expense reports within timelines and company guidelines.
- Operate the territory within the assigned expense budget.
- Continually strive for self-improvement and complete all required training courses.
- Comply with all provincial and federal laws, regulations, and guidelines.
- Understand and address managed care/payer related issues within the territory.
- Identify and develop Subject Matter Experts within the territory.
Compensation:
- $180,000 to $185,000 annually
