Our Client is looking for RN - Med/surg in Fort Wayne, IN for 13 weeks of contract.
***Client can call off up to 24 hours per 13-week contract and there are 8 hours of non-billable orientation***

Weekly Tax-Free Stipend to be paid - ($1,083.60)Non-Taxable
Weekly Straight Pay - ($1,224.00)Taxable
Weekly Gross - $2,307.60
Description:
General job duties.
- General Medical Surgical nursing care.
- Skills and tasks required would be assessments, care planning, inter-professional communication, utilization of the EHR, IV pumps, wound vacs, heat/cooling pads, feeding pumps, feeding tubes, chest tubes, management of heparin and insulin drips, IV therapy management.
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept:
- Epic electronic record, pyxis machines, Accucheck blood glucose, hospira IV pumps, SCDs for VTE prevention, heating/cooling pads, telemetry monitoring
Required skills and minimum years of experience:
- Minimum one year Med Surg hospital experience. Two years is preferred.
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc):
- BLS, IN State or compact RN license
Shift or schedule requirements: 12-hour shifts, 3 weekend shifts in 4 weeks
Medsurg RN's will float to areas in greatest need.
Patient ratios are 1:5.
Dress Code: Caribbean Blue scrubs
