We have an exciting opportunity for a Communications Intern in the Firm’s Tax Practice in the Atlanta, GA office at Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP. We are searching for someone who wants to be a valued contributor and member of a talented and dynamic team of lawyers, paralegals and business professionals.
The Communications Intern will work in the Firm’s Tax Practice reporting to the Tax Practice Business manager. This individual will assist with the department’s daily external communications, manage tracking of communications activity, and assist with various other communications projects.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assists with tax practice communications including alerts, newsletters, blog posts, podcasts and social media.
- Manages reporting on practice communication campaign efforts and results, both qualitatively and quantitatively.
- Assists with other tax department and firm wide events and projects as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- A Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing degree is required from an accredited college or university.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and project management skills.
- Takes initiative and works in a fast-paced team environment.
- Able to manage multiple demands, priorities and deadlines. Attention to detail and excellent judgement. Good problem-solving skills and works well as part of a team.
- Creative and forward-thinking self-starter.
- Excellent organizational, computer, and interpersonal skills are required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook, social media and content management platforms. InterAction preferred.
This is a hybrid role and will require on-site presence 3 days per week and expected to work at least 15-20 hours. Salary is commensurate with years of relevant experience & geographic location. The wage for this position is $16 an hour.
