ChristianaCare is seeking a Nurse Manager for Hemodialysis that would cover our Newark Campus. In this position, you will manage our inpatient and outpatient dialysis services in our 17 bed unit. The position requires 24 hour accountability and ability to demonstrate ethical standards that support our values of Love & Excellence.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the hemodialysis departments, including nursing staffing, scheduling, and patient flow.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements related to hemodialysis.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes and quality of care.
- Serve as a liaison between the hemo departments and other hospital departments to facilitate seamless patient care transitions.
- Develop and implement educational programs and initiatives for staff to enhance clinical skills and knowledge in hemo.

Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of DE required
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required ; Master's degree required within 3 years of hire.
- Professional certification in a related nursing specialty required
- Nurse Executive certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical and leadership experience in hemodialysis required.
- Basic Life Support Required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and other healthcare technologies.
