Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and resolute Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Taral Sharma, MD, PC. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, adolescents, and their families to provide therapeutic services and support mental health and well-being. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapies in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Assessments:
Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations and diagnostic assessments for children and adolescents.
Identify and diagnose various mental health conditions, developmental disorders, and emotional or behavioral issues.
Develop Treatment Plans:
Create individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, client needs, and evidence-based practices.
Set specific, measurable goals and outline therapeutic interventions.
Provide Therapy:
Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions using various therapeutic modalities.
Utilize age-appropriate techniques to engage clients and address their specific concerns.
Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Team:
Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss client progress and adjust treatment plans, as necessary.
Client and Family Support:
Provide psychoeducation and support to clients and their families to help them understand and manage mental health conditions.
Offer guidance on coping strategies, communication skills, and stress management.
Maintain Documentation:
Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and professional standards in documentation and confidentiality.
Professional Development:
Stay current with the latest research and developments in therapy and mental health.
Attend training sessions, workshops, and continuing education courses to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
Education: Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
Licensure: Licensed as a therapist (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Psychologist) in South Carolina.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices for children and adolescents.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to build rapport with clients and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Proficiency in maintaining detailed and accurate clinical documentation.

Pay: $28.67 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
