By joining a small versatile team in the Los Angeles office, you will help expand our capabilities with advanced motion graphics, VFX, color grading, SFX, and audio mixing. Our larger video team consists of global offices in Shenzhen, and Frankfurt, where we frequently collaborate on a daily and weekly basis. Because we are a small team, we wear many hats, which means you’ll get more hands-on time with products, shoots, equipment and software management, and may even have opportunities to attend local shoot and events.
Responsibilities:
- Editing product introduction videos, mini docs, and social media deliverables for various campaigns.
- Managing post production software and equipment such as servers, sync software, edit trackers, workflow management software.
- Working with internal directors, producers, and external creators on product intro campaigns from the strategy phase to final online delivery.
- Creating mood videos, motion board videos, music selection lists.
- Creating advanced motion graphics, and basic VFX such as roto, cleanup, and comps.
- Taking detailed notes and updating workflow management software on a daily basis.
- Transferring and receiving footage for studio use, external partners, and internal global teams.
- Editing and organizing all deliverables for each campaign.
- Adding sound FX layers, mixing, mastering for online delivery specs.
- Work closely with internal producers, and various marketing teams to deliver assets and requests.
- Delivering finished deliverables that are equivalent to or exceed industry standards.
Requirements:
- 5~7 years of working experience in the industry (at least 2-3 years of commercial work).
- Capable of being an independent editor with high level of commercial taste (advertisement style, not film/story editing).
- Delivering multiple versions of the edit for each round, with various music styles.
- Familiar with client communication and internal agency process.
- Experienced with technical deliverables in various data rate specs, resolutions, and codecs.
- Knowledgeable with a wide variety of music styles and genres.
- Experienced with post-editing software, sync software, remote transfer methods, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, Premiere Pro, with motion graphic and color grading experience.
- Have working knowledge of various cinema & prosumer cameras (DJI products).
- Ability to work under pressure with good professional ethics.
- Understands the importance of cross-departmental communication and coordination.
- Enthusiastic DJI product users are preferred.
