McKinley Marketing Partners' management consulting services client is looking for an MDS editor/writer to join their team for a long-term contract position. This position will review and enhance public healthcare documents. You will also implement prescribed edits to eliminate obsolete information and will ensure content remains fresh and relevant.
This a W2 contract opportunity and can be fully remote.
Responsibilites
- Examine and assess text modifications requested by both clients and internal project teams
- Engage in content management efforts to pinpoint all document sections needing revisions
- Assess the scope of work needed for requested changes and suggest an updated timeline
- Execute text amendments while ensuring uniformity across all affected document sections
- Thoroughly proofread for spelling, grammar, clarity, adherence to Plain Language principles, and compliance with the style guide
- Publish documents in a properly formatted manner
Requirements
- Associate degree in applicable areas
- 2+ years of editing experience within the healthcare industry
- Previously worked as an MDS Coordinator or has familiarity with MDS in a nursing home setting
- Knowledge of Excel, Office, Sharepoint and Outlook
