Responsibilities
Marketing & Advertising Specialist I
Supports the Company’s group acquisition marketing (B2B) team. Develops group acquisition (B2B) Sales and Broker communications. Works with Sales, Product, and Sales Enablement teams to develop sales communications requests (SCRs), briefs, and broker updates. Develops new and maintains current acquisition email marketing communications sent to group officials (business owners, HR managers, HR directors, etc.). Executes on overarching group acquisition (B2B) marketing strategies and initiatives. Assists with the department’s project management as needed. Ensures the appropriate approval processes are followed for all sent communications. Assists with procuring promotional items and print materials for event marketing.
- · Develops, reviews, and ensures timely publication of SCRs, broker updates, and other sales communications.
- · Works with internal partners to determine needed messages, frequency, updates, or strategy changes.
- · Learns and understands all acquisition marketing (B2B) products and programs.
- · Provides recommendations to improve composition and messaging structure for internal and external communications.
- · Maintains open lines of communications with partner departments.
- · Drives and facilitates version revisions to ensure accuracy of information and correct grammar/spelling.
- · Enters and manages design and email services requests.
- · Conducts project management duties for each program, enters tasks, enters and updates requests, closes out projects.
- · Documents, organizes, and maintains communications procedures for all programs.
- · Reports completion and opportunities to peers and management. Suggests process improvements for better outcomes and increased efficiency.
- · Supports sales event activations with promotional items design, ordering and fulfillment as well as creation of advertisements. Works with Sales and Sales Enablement to ensure Sales reps have materials they need to work B2B events.

Marketing & Advertising Specialist II
Supports the Company’s group acquisition (B2B) team. Develops group acquisition (B2B) marketing content and corresponding Sales and Broker communications. Works with in-house Content, Design, Data Analytics and Digital Marketing teams to develop project briefs, content, creative assets, webpages, social posts and ensures proper tracking is in place. Finds and generates insights to support marketing messages across all channels. Executes on overarching group acquisition (B2B) marketing strategies and initiatives. Manages legal and financial approval processes.
- · Develops and maintains group acquisition (B2B) marketing content for health and specialty (MMO and subsidiaries’) web pages targeting group-decision makers at businesses of all sizes, as well as brokers. Collaborates with the Company’s subsidiaries and other health plan partners on marketing initiatives.
- · Translates business information from Product, Sales, Underwriting, Wellness, Pharmacy, and other areas in a way that our audiences will understand.
- · Works with in-house Design and Digital Marketing teams to develop web pages, articles, blog posts, update site navigation, and other types of marketing content.
- · Works with peers to communicate with Sales and Brokers about marketing content and other updates as requested by business partners.
- · Works with in-house Design team and agency partners to develop digital/web creative assets.
- · Manages campaign landing pages, working with Digital Marketing and peers to ensure accurate content and information is presented.
- · Coordinates with Data Analytics and agency partners to ensure proper tracking is in place for all landing pages.
- · Helps inform strategy for paid group acquisition (B2B) media buys.
- · Reviews and distributes campaign reports to marketing leadership and business partners.
- · Finds and generates relevant and recent market insights that enhance strategy and content.

Sr Marketing & Advertising Specialist
Working under limited supervision, develops and implements Product Marketing concepts and strategies. Develops advertisements and sales content to drive leads for Group Commercial and Specialty products in the employee health benefits space to support company goals. Collaborates and coordinates with internal and external teams including creative and media agency partners, as well as Sales, Product Development, in-house Design, Content, Data Analytics and Digital Marketing teams, to develop creative assets, fulfill paid media buys and track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
- · Develops and implements marketing strategies for group- and broker-facing Commercial and Subsidiary product-specific content and campaigns.
- · Develops and manages marketing content and sales materials for Group Commercial and subsidiary products.
- · Develops content outlines and working copy for creative and thought leadership assets across a variety of product lines.
- · Works with in-house Content and Design team and agency partners to develop creative assets, including direct mail and print, digital, and radio ads targeted to employer and broker audiences.
- · Works with agency partners to execute and optimize ongoing and temporary advertising campaigns.
- · Acts as primary liaison with external vendors to ensure timely and accurate execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- · Fulfills media buys, including broad-reaching awareness campaigns combined with demand-gen efforts.

Qualifications
Marketing & Advertising Specialist I
- · Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- · 0-2 years in marketing or related field.
- · Advanced grammar and business composition skills.
- · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- · Strong communication skills.
- · Knowledge of email marketing.
Marketing & Advertising Specialist II
- · Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- · 3 years of progressive marketing experience, which includes interacting with internal partners, advertising agencies and media partners, preferably in a health plan or financial services industries.
- · Ability to apply knowledge of the Company’s strategic marketing and implementation plans.
- · Ability to create and implement print and digital advertising strategies and best practices.
- · Ability to apply knowledge of Company’s products, key product benefits, target markets and available media for promotion.
- · Knowledge of primary and secondary research from reputable sources to substantiate messaging.
- · Web page and customer journey knowledge or experience.
Sr Marketing & Advertising Specialist
- · Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- · 5 years of progressive marketing experience, which includes writing and editing and interacting with advertising agencies and media partners, preferably in a health plan or healthcare or financial services industries.
- · Product Marketing experience strongly preferred.
- · Ability to apply advanced knowledge of the Company’s strategic marketing and implementation plans.
- · Ability to create and implement print and digital advertising strategies and best practices and see them through to tactical execution.
- · Ability to apply advanced knowledge of Company’s products, key product benefits, target markets and available media for promotion.
- · Strong knowledge of print and multimedia research, planning, buying, scheduling, managing advertising calendars and fulfillment.
