Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Physical Therapist committed to delivering hands-on care and minimizing the use of passive modalities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient-centered treatment, aiming to become a recognized expert in the outpatient orthopedic field. Our clinic schedules one-on-one 45-minute appointments, allowing for focused, individualized care. You will work closely with a diverse patient population, developing and implementing active treatment plans to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient conditions and develop targeted treatment plans
Provide hands-on therapy, focusing on active treatments and minimizing the use of passive modalities
Schedule and conduct one-on-one 45-minute sessions to ensure thorough and personalized care
Educate patients and their families on managing conditions and preventing future injuries
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes
Requirements:
Required:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapy license
At least 3 years of clinical experience, with a preference for outpatient orthopedics
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate, patient-centered approach
Preferred:
Experience in an outpatient setting
Specialized certifications such as MDT, Astym, or Dry Needling
A commitment to becoming a leader in hands-on orthopedic therapy
