We’re looking to hire a Sr. Brand Marketing Associate for a financial services client. This role requires expertise in creative brief writing, advertising development, agency management, production planning/execution, and integrated media and communications planning to achieve key business and brand objectives.
This is a project opportunity until February 2025. The role is hybrid and located in New York City, NY.
Sr. Brand Marketing Associate Responsibilities:
- Deep understanding of brand purpose, strategy, and guidelines to ensure effective brand stewardship and cohesion across all go-to-market efforts.
- Align business and marketing objectives, championing brand solutions to achieve business goals.
- Collaborate closely with business teams to provide strategic and tactical support for brand, advertising, and marketing communications.
- Manage the production and implementation of advertising and content tactics across integrated Paid and Owned channels, including linear and online video, digital, mobile, social, print, audio, out-of-home, website, email, and direct mail.
- Collaborate with agency partners and cross-functional marketing teams (media, social, digital, PR, project management, creative, analytics) to drive cohesive creative campaigns.
- Partner with the market research team to uncover consumer insights and test creative ideas.
- Ensure all campaigns meet legal, compliance, risk, and control requirements with appropriate approvals obtained.
Sr. Brand Marketing Associate Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant marketing experience in brand strategy, marketing communications, and/or advertising execution; experience with advertising agencies preferred.
- Strong business and marketing acumen with the ability to link strategies to marketing campaigns from concept to execution and deliver results.
- Creative agency management experience with the ability to manage agency partners through quick turnarounds and timelines; deliver actionable feedback.
- Expertise in video, digital, and social creative production and channel best practices.
- Project management experience with the ability to juggle multiple workstreams, manage across teams to keep deliverables on track, and keep stakeholders informed.
- Solutions-oriented with the ability to anticipate roadblocks and understand evolving project dynamics.
- Trusted collaborator with a talent for influencing diverse stakeholders.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, comfortable presenting to key mid/senior-level stakeholders.
- Highly organized with the ability to execute and prioritize brilliantly in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong team interpersonal skills.
- Experience in small business and/or financial services is a plus.
