Job Title: Mechanical Licensing Temp
Duration: 4 Months Contract + Possibility of Extension/FTE
Location: Franklin, TN 37067
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $21.62
NOTES:
Hybrid, 1 day minimum (Wednesday required)
Schedule/Time zone requirements: M-F; flexible start time between 8am-9am
Job Functions:
- Provide publishing and mechanical splits - externally via MDX/LCH and email
- Review data and provide corrections on bulk licensing reports
- Assist with product setup in our internal database (RECS)
- Issue statutory mechanical licenses
- Maintain multiple workflow trackers in Monday.com
- Request missing documentation for controlled rates
Skills:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize heavy workload and multi-task effectively
- Robust computer skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team to achieve goals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle pressure and deadlines
Experience:
- Basic understanding of music publishing, including copyright & mechanical licensing
