CGS seeks an experienced and strategic product marketing leader to drive demand generation initiatives within the business. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing compelling product messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies that resonate with our target buyer personas and fuel the marketing and sales funnel.

What you need to be successful:
To excel as our Director of Product Marketing, you will possess a strong set of craft skills in the following:
- Messaging and positioning - crafting compelling messaging and positioning is critical for effective demand generation. You must have the ability to distill complex product/service features and capabilities into clear and concise value propositions that resonate with target buyer personas. In doing this, you’ll work closely with our Product and Technology teams to understand product roadmaps and plan marketing campaigns accordingly. You will create persuasive messaging frameworks that map product benefits to customer pain points and desired outcomes.
- Content marketing - Content is a vital tool for demand generation. You must be skilled in developing an integrated content marketing strategy aligned with the buyer's journey and demand gen goals. You will conceptualize and oversee the creation of high-quality content assets like whitepapers, e-books, videos, webinars, etc. You will also closely collaborate with the Head of Digital marketing and agency partners to leverage content syndication, SEO, and paid media tactics that amplify content reach and engagement – and conversions.
- Campaign planning and execution - You must have expertise in planning and executing multi-channel, integrated marketing campaigns to drive demand. This includes defining campaign objectives, strategies, channels, and success metrics. You will lead campaign activities across various marketing disciplines (digital, events, content, etc.). You will also have a track record utilizing marketing automation and lead nurturing to move prospects through the funnel.
- Data analysis and optimization - You will be the go-to subject matter expert for the Marketing-generated pipeline and return on marketing spend in your domain. A data-driven, analytical mindset is essential for optimizing demand gen and demonstrating your performance. Your key skills include leveraging marketing analytics and attribution tools to measure campaign effectiveness; interpreting data to derive actionable insights and identify areas for optimization; and utilizing A/B testing and experimentation to continuously improve messaging, content, and tactics.
- Sales enablement – You’re successful in enabling the sales team with the right tools and training for converting marketing-generated leads. You are highly skilled in developing sales enablement assets like ICP personas, competitive battle cards, presentations, and product demos. You be influential and persuasive in conveying in-depth product knowledge and market insights to support the sales process. And, you are known for orchestrating harmonious collaboration with sales leadership to align messaging, define lead qualification criteria, and improve handoffs.
Requirement:
- 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in product marketing, demand generation, or related marketing roles (preferably in B2B software/technology).
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful demand generation programs that delivered pipeline and revenue impact.
- Strong understanding of marketing automation, CRM, analytics, and sales enablement technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex product/technical concepts simply.
- Strategic thinking with a data-driven, metrics-oriented approach to Marketing.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the technology or consulting business strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
