GMS, one of the country’s leading PEOs, is looking for a creative and strategic individual to join our Marketing team in Richfield, OH as our Content Marketing Strategist.
Content Marketing Strategist duties include but not limited to:
Responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content marketing strategy that fuels our digital marketing strategy, enhances our brand's voice, drives engagement with our target audience, generates qualified leads, and positions GMS as a thought leader in the PEO industry. Additionally:
- Work collaboratively with our digital marketing team to create compelling content across various formats, including blogs, videos, and educational collateral.
- Define content pillars and themes that address the specific needs and pain points of SMBs, considering PEO services.
- Create a content mix that incorporates blog posts, infographics, white papers, case studies, videos and social media content.
- Develop a data-driven content calendar that aligns with GMS' overall marketing goals and business objectives.
- Manage content creation workflows, including assigning projects, setting deadlines, and ensuring editorial quality.
- Assist in developing engaging content for various communication channels, including website content, social media posts, email marketing campaigns, press releases, and internal communications.
- Identify and implement content optimization strategies (SEO, keywords) to improve organic search ranking and content visibility.
- Regularly monitor KPIs such as website traffic, lead generation, engagement metrics, and content ROI.
- Continuously research and stay up-to-date on the latest trends in content marketing, SEO best practices, and the PEO industry.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Compensation, Benefits and Perks:
- Base Salary Range starting between $55,000-$65,000 commensurate w/ experience

Qualifications for this role:
- Experience - Bachelor's degree in Marketing and 5-7 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Prefer experience with developing and implementing content marketing campaigns, content management systems, and marketing automation platforms.
- Traits - Strategic, Creative, Analytical, Adaptable, and Collaborative.
- Other - Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud apps such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc. Salesforce or similar CRM experience preferred.
