We seek a
Senior Float Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions, and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
Hours: Monday - Friday, no nights or weekends. Will be working an 8-hr shift between the hours of 8am - 6pm.

Primary Responsibilities: - Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
- Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
- Orders, receives, and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
- Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
- Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
- Works with the Pharmacist to asset in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
- Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
- Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
- Other duties as assigned
- This is a full time float position to cover all sites in San Diego, Orange, LA, and Riverside Counties, with possible travel throughout all of California. M ust be able to cover any sites in California that require PTO / call-out coverage as needs arise (will be reimbursed for mileage when driving; flight, hotel stay and 2 meals per day will be provided when necessary to fly to other sites; will be compensated at hourly rate for travel time when flying). Role is 100% travel. Candidate will be responsible for booking travel, creating expense reports and be responsible for adherence to Travel and Expense Policy.

Required Qualifications: - Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of California
- 1+ years of retail or clinical Pharmacy Technician experience
- Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license
- Ability to travel all of California when needed, with primary responsibility from LA County and South, including travel on same day after onsite shift
- Ability to be flexible with last minute schedule and shift location changes
- Ability to manage travel arrangements and expense reports
Preferred Qualifications: - Bilingual Spanish
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification
