Qualifications
- 1+ years of digital media buying, negotiation and implementation experience in an agency environment is required
- Hands on experience in one or more key social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Snap)
- Able to understand the application and use of industry tools such as DDS/Prisma, ComScore, Nielsen, AdViews, eMarketer, etc.
- Experience curating and troubleshooting inventory from both public and private sources
- Understanding of various audience data sources and experience with building audiences
- Strong advanced knowledge of Microsoft software tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Advanced understanding and experience with Ad Trafficking (DoubleClick specific, but experience with additional ad servers is a plus) and Verification partners (IAS/DV/Moat/etc.)
- Confident in analyzing and acting on marketing data
- Aptitude for mathematical concepts and an understanding of the digital marketplace
- Attention to detail in a multi-tasking, fast-paced business environment
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written skills
Responsibilities
The Senior Associate, Search is the day‐to‐day steward on the business and is on the front lines of developing and activating both tactical and custom digital recommendations to meet our clients’ goals. They are a Digital native, curious about unique emerging opportunities and prepared to provide a point‐of‐view, recommendation, and optimization recommendations based on campaign performance. Senior Associates are the primary contributor to the development of the Associate(s), guiding them through the fundamentals of the planning process (inclusive of partner evaluation, negotiation, reporting, optimization, insight generation, billing, etc.), while also being a key touchpoint to stakeholders across the organization and the client for day-to-day management and support. The key difference between the Senior Associate role and the Associate is the ability to function independently, maintaining the workflow of planning, execution, and stewardship of campaigns.
- Support the Supervisor on day to day client management and requests
- Ability to work closely with search engine partners to provide clear direction, timing and expectations around campaign execution and reporting needs
- Capability to streamline communication across key internal and external stakeholders as it pertains to search strategy, reporting, management and execution
- Demonstrate the capability to juggle multiple tasks concurrently as well as exhibit skills to effectively prioritize workload while keeping manager abreast of progress
- Exhibit strong Excel skills including pivot tables, v-lookups, sumifs, etc. needed for consistent reporting
- Gather, compile and analyze large data sets to understand current performance trends and inform future strategic investment opportunities
- Possess comprehensive understanding of multiple platforms and data sources
- Demonstrates understanding of and ability to manage forecasting, budgeting and spend pacing
- Comprehensive understanding of SEM campaign setups within platforms as well as bid management tools (i.e. Kenshoo, SA360, Etc.)
- Deep understanding of targeting and audience management capabilities as well as SEM best practices and setup process
- Capability to effectively project manage the implementation of multiple campaigns concurrently
- Effectively manage, pace and actualize budgets to ensure accuracy of paid search spend
Compensation Range: $40,000 - $65,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
