Role Description
This is a Full-time/ Part-Time on-site role for a Licensed Practical Nurse .The LPN would be working at one of our Skilled Nursing facilities located in : The Bronx , Little neck Queens , Plainview , Garden City , Oakdale or Smithtown
Drug and Treatment Centers : Lower Manhattan and Brownsville, Brooklyn
Responsibilities :
The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assisting physicians and registered nurses, monitoring patient health, administering medications, and maintaining accurate medical records. Additionally, the Licensed Practical Nurse will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Patient Care, Medical Assistance, and Medication Administration skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining medical records
- Current LPN license in the state of New York
- Experience in acute care or long-term care settings - not required but preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Knowledge of EHR systems and electronic medical records
