Production Manager for Skincare
Production Team Leadership
- Oversee daily production activities, including communicating daily with the Contract Manufacturer and 3PL to resolve their needs.
- Lead and manage the workflow between the CM and the 3PL.
- Be prepared to travel between the CM in Chatsworth and the 3PL in Fontana.
- Receive incoming shipments and verify packing slips.
- Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Meet PO timelines and trouble shoot with the CM and 3PL to prevent any delays.
- Forecast primary and secondary packaging needs.
- Work from home to handle all administrative tasks and meet virtually with the rest of the team
Quality Control
- Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure componentry and finished goods meet quality standards and BOMs.
- Quality control incoming goods and report damages.
- Establish and maintain an organized work schedule.
Oversee Fulfillment
- Be the direct line of communication with the 3PL to make sure all orders are fulfilled and immediately resolve Shopify issues.
- Assist in customer exchanges or returns.
- Replenish packing materials as needed.
Inventory Management
- Manage all raw materials and components.
- Ensure all inventories are reconciled at the EOM.
- Track and maintain a lot coding system.
Schedule:
Experience:
- Manufacturing management: 2 years (Preferred)
- Shopify: 2 years (Preferred)
Ability to Commute:
- Chatsworth, CA (Required)
Willingness to travel:
Work Location: In person and remote.
