Our Boston based marketing technology company is looking for a Copywriter with 4+ year's experience for an immediate part time long term contract; you'll support members of the team on projects ranging from websites and social media to advertisements.
Day in the life:
- Strategic Copywriting:
- Create compelling copy for various channels, including websites, social media, emails, and advertisements.
- Develop and implement effective copywriting strategies aligned with business objectives to drive brand awareness.
- Work with other Creative Team leaders and stakeholders to ensure the process from brief, review/feedback to copy output is clear and understandable
- Foster strong stakeholder relationships for a collaborative team approach that achieves creative work aligned with business goals.
- Collaboration and Consistency:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product, to ensure consistent messaging and brand voice.
- Translate briefs from Go-To-Market, Product Marketing, and CLM into strategic and cohesive creative concepts.
- Ensure factual accuracy, uphold grammar and style rules, and adhere to brand guidelines across all copy.
- Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand the target audience and market trends, tailoring copy accordingly.
- Stay updated on industry trends to produce content that resonates with the target audience.
- Editing and Quality Assurance:
- Oversee the editing and proofreading process to ensure accuracy, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Maintain brand consistency by developing and maintaining brand guidelines.
- Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery without sacrificing quality.
- Act as the primary point of contact for copywriting
- Act as a key point of contact for copywriting projects, managing timelines and meeting agreed deadlines projects, managing timelines and resources.
- Ensure any site copy is optimized for SEO and meets industry-specific compliance requirements
- Track and analyze the performance of copy, providing data-driven recommendations for optimization.
Looking for:
- 4+ years of relevant experience at agencies or in house studies
- Proven experience in strategic copywriting with a portfolio demonstrating creativity and versatility.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in using content management systems and familiar with SEO best practices.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively, adapting to changing priorities.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
