Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Emergency Room Nurse. The Emergency Room Nurse will plan and supervise the nursing care delivered to acutely ill pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in the emergency department in accordance with all standards governing our facility.The nurse will assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on their condition. Specialize in assessing, intervening, and stabilizing a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action. Due to the range of medical conditions that may require urgent treatment and care, employee must be knowledgeable about general as well as specific health issues.
Qualifications
- Emergency Department experience preferred
- Ability to assess and prioritize patients
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Ability to care for patients at various stages of life
- Ability to work well within the team
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
