The successful candidates will be drawn to the idea of finding and telling compelling stories about Ecolab’s positive impact with the company’s 47,000 employees and customers across 170 countries. A strong written and visual communicator, they will be adept at considering a broad range of audiences and adapting quickly to diverse communications projects. This role will provide a great opportunity to learn, with exposure to multiple enterprise leaders, strategies, and channels.

What You Will Do:
• Support proactive, coordinated communications around Community Impact initiatives that deliver enterprise-level impact across multiple internal and external audiences
• Collaborate with internal and digital communication professionals at Ecolab headquarters and around the world to share Community Impact opportunities and initiatives
• Work with Community Impact team members and Ecolab business contacts to identify, develop and share stories that illustrate the company’s purpose and positive impact
• Develop a variety of communications content for both internal and external audiences, including social media content, media materials, Ecolab Foundation grant partner organizations, web content, news articles, employee communications, key messages and presentations
• Work across channels to support team processes, including content creation, content review, publishing, editing and metrics reporting for internal INSIDE Ecolab website, including making regular announcements around program opportunities and Ecolab Giving Site
• Webpage development and content management on external facing Ecolab.com, ensuring content is valuable for external survey content and award nominations
• Manage design work and creative agency relationship working on communication strategy and deliverables
• Design and create communication tools as needed (i.e.: email templates, volunteer signage, t-shirts, logos, videos, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications:
• 2+ years of communications experience, with relevant experience in agency and/or in-house communications roles
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with knowledge of AP style
• Strong attention to detail and project management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing or related field
• Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position

• Solid interpersonal skills, including a positive and upbeat service mentality.
• The ability to interact with external contacts, employees at all levels of the company including CEO, and sensitive or confidential information.
• Experience in a content development, media relations, social media, marketing or internal communications role
• Experience working collaboratively with international and cross-functional teams
• Experience using digital solutions, including content and social management tools
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated competency in management of multiple, large projects simultaneously.
• Expert software skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Canva, Adobe Acrobat Professional
