Sid Jacobson JCC is seeking a Marketing Associate to join our dynamic marketing & communications team who will be responsible for strategizing, developing, implementing and managing strategies that support the mission and grow the brand. You’ll increase awareness, membership, program participation, donations & fundraising revenue, and relevance among our various target audiences. This is a hybrid position with the option to WFH 1-2 days a week.
HOW YOU’LL HELP US SUCCEED:
- Conceptualize, implement and manage comprehensive marketing and communications programs that will enhance the JCC’s image and position within the marketplace and the general public
- Optimize and analyze advertising campaigns on search engines, social media platforms, display advertising, retargeting networks and local publications
- Implement a 360-degree strategy that utilizes all mediums from mobile to digital, social, print, and more
- Evaluate the outcomes of marketing projects from conception to completion
- Create and implement marketing calendars for each department you oversee
- Research trends and innovative ways to convey and promote our programs & people
- Interpret data to make informed decisions on future strategies
- Identify new systems and technologies to gain efficiency and increase productivity
- Manage marketing budgets
- Support and collaborate with Program Directors and Graphic Designers
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- 3+ years’ experience in marketing. Nonprofit experience preferred, but not required
- Background in Marketing or Project Management preferred
- Skilled at identifying compelling angles and bringing them to life in clear, innovative and effective ways
- Experience with social media, website management, SEO
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Serious attention to detail and organization
- Tracks content performance and drive decisions with data/analytics
- Sense of humor and ability to collaborate within a tight-knit team
