POSITION SUMMARY
The Social Media Graphic Designer will lead in strategy, and content creation in alignment with the vision of the CEO and President, and presenting innovative ideas based on their expertise, data and audience feedback. As our Social Media Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating compelling and visually stunning graphics for our social media platforms. You will work closely with our marketing and content teams to produce engaging content that aligns with our brand identity and resonates with our target audience.

OBJECTIVES
- Develop and design high-quality graphics for social media posts, promos, stories, banners, Youtube thumbnails and other digital content
- Create visually appealing and on-brand imagery for various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube, and others
- Ensure all graphics and visual content adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all social media channels
- Assist in the development of social media content strategies and contribute creative ideas for social media campaigns
- Increase engagement, brand visibility, and recognition across social media platforms
- Integrate emerging social media trends and technologies into the company's strategy
- Lead on some of our most critical social media campaigns, working hand-in-hand with our top-notch agencies on both the creative and media fronts
- Work closely with content creators, copywriters, and other team members to produce cohesive and effective social media content.
- Utilize graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to create and edit graphics
- Produce animations or motion graphics as needed using software like After Effects
COMPETENCIES
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Knowledge of social media platforms and their design requirements
- Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics
- Ability to promote & scale on Facebook, Youtube, Instagram being the main 3 platforms along with LinkedIn
- Proficiency with organic perspectives on social platforms
- Ability to decipher social data, populate insightful reports, and tweak strategies based on results
- Communicates effectively with team members and stakeholders to understand design requirements and feedback
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred but not required
- Proven experience as a graphic designer, preferably in social media (3+ years)
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous work in social media graphic design is required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk or computer
