We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team at OfferBite, the ultimate platform for restaurant growth and customer engagement.
The ideal candidate will be a current student or recent graduate who is passionate about social media and digital marketing, eager to learn, and capable of bringing fresh ideas to our social media strategy. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing at an exciting and fast-paced SaaS startup!
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Develop engaging content for social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and infographics.
- Scheduling & Posting: Assist in scheduling and posting content on various social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Social Media Monitoring: Monitor social media channels for trends, mentions, and feedback, and engage with followers.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance using tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social. Prepare regular reports on campaign performance and suggest improvements.
- Campaign Support: Support the planning and execution of social media campaigns, contests, and promotions.
- Research: Conduct research on current trends and audience preferences to optimize content and strategy.
- Community Management: Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align social media strategy with overall marketing goals and campaigns.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure that all content aligns with the company's brand voice and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate new ideas.
- Basic knowledge of social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Buffer).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Previous experience in social media management or content creation is a plus.
