Overview
Venture Medical, LLC is a fast-growing medical supply distributor headquartered in downtown Missoula. We’re comprised of a small, but nimble local team, several remote full-time employees and a nation-wide sales team. The Marketing Communications Coordinator will work in the main office, directly with the Chief of Staff, to help strategize and implement marketing and communications efforts (both internal and external) for the company, including promotional, and other communications with manufacturers, sales representatives, distributors, and customers to increase brand and offering awareness.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing effective communication strategies targeting manufacturers, customers, and prospects
- Coordinate the design of promotional materials and campaigns using internal and external resources and distribute in online and offline channels
- Assist in creation and design of presentations for sales trainings, product promotion and client pitches
- Create copy and content for our products and services and promote through multiple media channels, including both traditional and social media. Monitor social media channels and address concerns and bad actors
- Coordinate preparation of materials for conferences, conventions, and other events
- Draft and distribute regular newsletters and articles with company and industry information
· Participate in social media groups and professional platforms to discuss industry-related topics
- Monitor corporate website and social media pages and address inquiries
- Gather customer feedback to inform sales and product teams
Requirements and skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be a self starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Must be incredibly organized, we are a fast-paced company and you will be handling multiple projects at a time
- B.A. in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or other relevant field
- 2+ years’ work experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or other relevant field
- Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing
- Knowledge of SEO, SEM and Google Analytics
- Experience with media campaigns (organic and paid) for B2B, including both traditional and social media channels, is a plus
Physical Requirements
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
