Simkhai is searching for a talented Director of Marketing and PR. This position is responsible for planning, development and implementation of all marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal.

Responsibilities:
Brand strategy
- Create comprehensive brand marketing plans, including campaigns, events, partnerships, and activations across social media, partnerships, events, influencer, and PR marketing channels
- Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity across all marketing channels and touchpoints
- Maintain brand integrity and ensure all marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines and standards
- Lead the conceptualization, planning, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, social media, events, and other channels
- Manage marketing and PR budgets effectively, allocate resources efficiently, and track expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness and ROI
- Coordinate with Director E-Commerce & Digital Marketing to drive digital marketing initiatives including SEO, paid media, email marketing, social media strategy, and influencer partnerships
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and consistent brand positioning
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze metrics, and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results and ROI
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, editors, journalists, influencers, and public personalities to secure media coverage and drive positive brand visibility.
PR
- Develop and manage execution of clear and measurable blockbuster PR plans
- Own PR agency relationship(s)
- Own timelines and communication plans for all PR efforts including product launches, sponsorships, tie-ins, talent announcements
- Establish and execute events, activations, press previews and launches
- Lead editorial coverage for all products ensuring optimal brand coverage
- Oversee social media content to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversion
- Handle press outreach with brand news and announcements, product pitches, new collections, and sustainability initiatives
- Manage PR calendar
- Organize and compile all media coverage, reports, and press hits.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing and communications or related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Brand, PR, Marketing within the luxury industry
- Demonstrated Marketing strategic thinking and brand building capabilities
- Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis capable of identifying opportunities and devising initiatives with a strategic mindset
- Strong relationships with press, media contacts and influencers
- A good communicator with the ability to interface regularly with internal and external personnel at all levels.
- Comfortable working under tight deadlines and on multiple projects simultaneously
- Computer literate, including excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages (Word & Excel)
