Job Description: Responsible for organizing and providing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
The perfect candidate for this position will have the following experience:
Qualifications:
- Current nursing licensure in the state(s) of employment
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 month from the date of hire.
- Tier 1-Minimum of 2 years acute care nursing experience and currently starting IV's, trouble-shooting PIV's and central lines. Must have experience with placing central lines (i.e. PICCs). Experience with ultrasound guided vascular access, Port-a-Cath access and knowledge of/experience with de-clotting central lines preferred.

Shift Start/End: 0700 or 2300/1530 or 0730
Hours Per Pay Period: 56
Compensation Range: $42.04 - $64.29 / hour
Union: SMMC MNA RNs (SMRN)
FTE: 0.8
Weekends: every other
