E-Commerce Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic E-commerce Manager to lead our online sales strategy and ensure the success of our digital sales channels. The E-commerce Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing our e-commerce platforms, driving sales growth, enhancing customer experience, and coordinating with various departments to align with the company's overall objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the company’s e-commerce strategy to achieve business objectives.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platforms, including product listings, pricing, promotions, and order fulfillment.
- Monitor website performance, including traffic, conversion rates, and user experience, and implement improvements as needed.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media.
- Manage online advertising efforts, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and other paid media to drive traffic and conversions.
- Analyze digital marketing performance and adjust strategies to optimize ROI.
- Drive online sales growth by identifying opportunities for product expansion, upselling, and cross-selling.
- Implement and manage promotional campaigns and discount strategies to boost sales.
- Develop and maintain relationships with third-party marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, eBay) to expand sales channels.
- Ensure a seamless and engaging customer experience across all digital touchpoints.
- Oversee the implementation of customer service tools, such as chatbots, to enhance support and reduce friction in the buying process.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback to drive continuous improvement in the e-commerce experience.
- Utilize analytics tools to monitor site performance, user behavior, and sales data.
- Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and present insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions regarding product offerings, pricing strategies, and marketing efforts.
- Work closely with the inventory and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
- Manage stock levels on e-commerce platforms to prevent overselling and ensure optimal inventory turnover.
- Lead and mentor a team of e-commerce specialists, providing guidance and support to achieve team and company goals.
- Foster a collaborative environment between the e-commerce team and other departments, such as IT, marketing, and customer service.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce management or digital marketing, preferably in a retail environment.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Proven track record of driving online sales growth and improving conversion rates.
- Experience with digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership experience with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
- Experience with third-party marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, eBay).
- Familiarity with UX/UI best practices.
- Experience with CRM and customer service tools.
- May require occasional travel for conferences, vendor meetings, or other business needs.
