Compass Healthcare Consulting & Placement is conducting a search for an experienced RN - VP of Clinical Operations for a large Certified Home Healthcare Agency with Corporate office in New York, NY. Qualified candidates will have prior Certified Home Healthcare Agency experience at an Executive level within Clinical Operations.
Job Summary:
The VP of Clinical Operations is responsible for management and administration of multiple functions and clinical operations, health services and the medical management team. This role provides subject matter expertise in project management, project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocation and other areas of expertise.
This position is responsible for the overall clinical operations function for the Certified Home Care Services Division. This position will ensure that all business objectives and clinical operations are met while maintaining the highest level of quality clinical care, within a regulatory environment.
Leads the development and execution of Company’s mission, vision and strategy for Home Care, including analyzing and tracking data related to business initiatives, managing strategic and regulatory projects, executing workflows and operational systems improvements that support organizational performance goals. Assists in the trending, identification, development and management of new initiatives that drive financial sustainability, operational effectiveness, customer & employee satisfaction, retention and quality outcomes. Furthers and creates both internal and external strategic partners; developing innovative service models that support the continuum of services.
Ensuring that patient care activities provided are reflective of quality, efficiency and are reflective of NYS DOH regulatory statutes and standards. Provides oversight and supervision to the senior leadership team.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration, or Health Management, Master's degree preferred & NYS Registered Nurse, active and in good standing.
• 5+ years of related home health care experience
• 5+ years of leadership experience
• Knowledge of and experience related to publicly funded government health care programs (e.g., Medicaid, Medicare or State health care programs for the uninsured)
• Technical and financial understanding of home health care clinical operations
• Exceptional leadership skills and operational management expertise
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Working knowledge of relevant federal and state regulations and requirements
• In depth understanding of challenges that face agency and health care in general
• Ability to stay apprised of ongoing changes that impact clinical operations
Competitive Compensation Package! $250,000 - $300,000 plus benefits.
